Are you near your due date? If so, you probably have heard about the divarication of recti.
Just in case you didn't know, it is a condition that is quite common during pregnancy and after childbirth. It often causes pain, especially when the separation of recti muscles get worse.
To prevent that, you must never do these things after your pregnancy.
1.GO WORK OUT.
Do not do any strenuous exercises, or else your body would not stop bleeding. More or less, you have to wait for six to eight weeks until you can become active again.
2.DO HOUSE CHORES.
The same is true for this one. If you do all the cleaning while you are still recovering, the separation of the recti muscles will get worse, and that will cause you so much pain.
3.USE TAMPON.
If you are a fan of tampons, never not use them during the first six to eight weeks. Otherwise, you will bleed more. Therefore, instead of using these, wear maternity pads. They can adsorb more and help stop bleeding.
4.CARRY HEAVY ITEMS.
Doing so would not only strain your body and put pressure on the recti muscles. That is why try not to lift anything heavy, even your child.;
5.POOP TOO HARD.
When you have a divarication of recti, the more constipated you are. Therefore, when you feel like pooping, let it slide and not push yourself too hard. Note that if you put too much pressure, the recti muscles will separate further.
6.HAVE SEX.
Ditto with this, so ask your partner to postpone your lovemaking when you fully recover, and the doctor allows you to have intercourse again.
